MOTI collects various pieces of private information for explicitly allowing the app to function. At no time will we use or sell your information for marketing purposes.
Your phone number and email address are private, unless you choose to share them on your public profile which you must explicitly do in your account settings. MOTI does not share your email or phone number with any 3rd parties.
The MOTI mobile app may request permissions to access your device's address book when you access
the search screen. If you grant access the phone numbers and email addresses in your address
book will be sent to our servers to create a list of suggested users that are on MOTI who you
have not already added as MOTI contacts. This data is never stored or shared.

Your profile photos are viewable by the public. Anyone can search for any user if they know their name or username, and their profile photo will appear in the results.
Your user profile information and call history remain on our servers for as long as you maintain your account. Once you delete your account most of your personal data is removed from the server. Your deleted data will exist in backups which is kept for 30 days.
MOTI uses a 3rd party analytics tool for capturing some user interactions, such as what screen users navigate to, how many calls have been placed, videos recorded, and other types of actions. This data is collected and used to track overall app usage, but not at an individual account level.
We have followed industry standard best practices, including, password protection, data tokenization, SSL, firewalls, and internal restrictions on who may access data to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Please be aware that despite our best efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security.
Any user on MOTI should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your account, especially for accounts that signup by email. Choosing a robust password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, and keeping your log-in and password private will help prevent intrusion into your account. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or compromised passwords or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity.
As a pay platform where all users must have a credit card to participate, we don't expect minors to be using the app anyway. Our app is geared for people 18 and over.
Most of your personal data is removed from MOTI when you delete your account. Remaining data includes your name, username and profile photo. This data is only retained for use in the Call History tab for any user you made calls with. If you do not wish this data to be retained it can be manually removed if you send a request to [support|at|motiapp|dot|com]. Please provide the full name and username you used on MOTI since we will not be able to identify the account by email, as that data has already been removed.
