Sean Foster is the Founder and CEO of eFocus Media Group⁠, a digital marketing agency helping businesses and nonprofits grow through branding, websites, video production, social media marketing, and business automation.

I’m Sean Foster, Founder and Managing Member of eFocus LLC | eFocus Media Group.

I was born and raised in Queens, New York, and come from Jamaican, Chinese, Portuguese, and German roots. I later relocated to the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region — the DMV — where I built my career, my business, and an extensive professional network.

My journey in marketing began with Bezoom USA, a subsidiary of Proximedia, where I worked in digital media, marketing, business development, and client acquisition. Within approximately a year and a half, my success and relationship with the company led to a partnership with its owner.

Eventually, I decided to take everything I had learned and build something of my own.

That became eFocus Media Group.

Today, eFocus helps businesses build their brands and generate growth through digital marketing, websites, video production, social media, CRM technology, automation, lead generation, branding, and strategic business development.

But throughout my career, one thing has consistently opened more doors than anything else:

Relationships.

I became heavily involved in networking throughout the DMV and developed a reputation as a connector. Over the years, I have built a network of more than 40,000 professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, and community leaders.

I don't believe networking is about collecting contacts.

I believe it is about knowing who should know whom — and why.

My community involvement has included serving as a Pink Tie Guy for the Tigerlily Foundation, a Board Member and Advisor for We Will Survive Cancer, a judge for the 2015 Miss District of Columbia Pageant, and a Board Member for the Miss Asian American Beauty Pageant.

Whether I'm helping a company strengthen its marketing, introducing two people who should be doing business together, or building the next evolution of eFocus, my goal remains the same:
